I do love this quote because it is very true! Sometimes the simplest things can be so sophisticated. This may be surprising to hear from me since I love glam and standing out with my fashion style. But there is a time and a place for everything. At times just wearing a simple top  with some jeans can be so sophisticated! At times, we may overthink an outfit or think an outfit is not fashionable because there is no bling on it or its not an expensive brand or label.

Long sleeve dolmans is a fall staple piece that everyone should have in their closet. Shop the Mint an online store carries a variety of them too! I got this soft comfy dolman from Shop the Mint in both cobalt blue and this pretty wine color as you see here in these photos.  Please note that the cobalt blue is currently sold out! A dolman is basically a long sleeve tunic that you ae wear with leggings and boots or with jeans! We were headed over to some friends house for dinner so  I wanted to be  comfortable yet stylish. I worn this top with some dark blue skinny jeans, black booties and pop of yellow for my purse. When trying to style a simple piece, don’t over think it. The best way to create a cool style is playing with colors as I have here. Sometimes being matchy matchy can be boring. Definitely mix things up by adding a pop of color whether it is a purse, a scarf or jewelry. It was still not cool enough f scarf so I opted for the choker which is hot right now this season and brought my favorite leather yellow purse that I got as a gift in Italy. So remember simple does not necessarily mean boring! You a make any simple piece fashionable by adding pop of WOW to it!
