“Ruffles & Plaid Make Me Glad!”

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA! I have been suffering from severe migraines for the past month-mri, steroids, pain killers and nothing seems to help. Ugh So that is why I had not posted in a long time. But I am beginning to post again especially since some exciting times are coming! I am finishing up some travel posts ANNNND I am excited to say that I will be attending New York Fashion Week for the FIRST time!!

It has always been a dream for me to attend and be on the inside. After getting invited to some events and getting emails from brands assuming that I am going to be there, I decided to go ahead a make arrangements to be in attendance. So there is alot of preparation going on right now from organzing my schedule, meeting PR firms and of course putting together showstopping FIERCE outfits! Be sure to follow me on instagram so you can see the latest and see my instastories.

A'gaci checkmate ruffle blouse

Todays post I am discussing a little bit about transitioning from summer to fall! This transition is one of my favorites because you are having a taste of the two best seasons. When people think of fall the automatically think of dark colors, oranges, plums etc. I do love those shades but I still love adding bright colors to my wardrobe too. Fall does not have to be gloomy period but it can still be youthful, fun and uplifting too. So when I found this plaid ruffle blouse, it really caught my eye. I have honestly never been a big fan of plaid. It always made me think of overalls and looking like farmer joe, which overalls made a come back the last couple of seasons.  But the color of this blouse was a bright yellow which first caught my and then it combined my favorite trend ruffles so I thought I would give it a chance.

It think it is super cute and tried it on with some dark skinny jeans that you can see in Dressing Room Diaries. For the fall transition, wear it with some cute booties and shorts is a perfect way to rock it. I loved how it lookd together. Outfit details click here!Very chic and casual yet put together and fashionably.

Is there anyone who loves or doesn’t love the plaid trend? Leave me a comment ! I would love to hear your thoughts!
