Fall Fashion – Military Jacket Trend

Blazer Alert!!! So this is part 2 of “Put on a Blazer & Just Blaze!” So I am pretty excited for this new blazer I received from MakeMeChic! In part 1, I featured a cape blazer which I absolutely love, but this style is a bit more different. Blazers are definitely a fall favorite for me and this fall you should have a few different options in your closet too!! There are so many styles of blazers that you can definitely can find one that is unique to your particular style and personality. However, here is a blazer that you definitely should add to your closet! Today I will be discussing the military jacket style.

When I first saw this blazer, I thought of Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation music video – my all-time favorite song from her! In the video, her jacket was kind of military style and this one is similar due to the gold buttons and black trim. The blazer is warm and not thin at all. Sometimes you can get a blazer that is really cute but for warm it does absolutely nothing. This one definitely gave warmth!

I love the design of the blazer with the gold buttons and the black trim. The coolest thing about the blazer is that you can wear it in various different ways. There are a lot of buttons, but not necessarily for show. There are so many different ways to style the collar. You can have both collars button down, or just one collar or you can open up the collar more and just button it in the center. My favorite style is have one collar tucked it. I like the look it gives with the black trim – kind of a retro look!

The price of this blazer is very reasonable at $41.00 and currently have all sizes available! I styled this blazer with a simple black shirt from H&M, skinny jeans from Charlotte Russe, Versace bag from Macy’s and my new boots from JustFab. I think this blazer can be styled in various different ways and definitely a cool statement piece for the fall.
